Our economic and business development team at American Electric Power is staffed by experienced economic development professionals. We provide comprehensive economic development services across AEP's 200,000 square mile (518,000 square kilometer) territory in portions of Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. We provide:

We also support our existing national accounts and major employers with energy audits, expansion assistance and a variety of services designed to support their investment in our service territory.

  • Designed and oversaw the development of a high quality, final presentation to the City of Beachwood via innovative presentation software.
  • Researched, evaluated and compiled a list of comparable communities to be benchmarked against the City of Beachwood.
  • Prepared the mid-project presentation, drawing upon Phase I research and comments from local community stakeholders.
  • Organized and coordinated a project schedule that defined deadlines and responsibilities for each member.
  • Corresponded with City of Beachwood and public relations officials as a point-of-contact for all basic administrative functions.
