"From the convergence of these three companies into a single locus of competencies, the 'Emakina' brand -- a contraction of 'Emalaya' and 'Ex Machina' – was born."

  • Managing partner

    Virtuo

(Privately Held; 11-50 employees; Information Technology and Services industry)

    19961998 (2 years )

Virtuo was the producer of a CD-ROM about Magritte.
Here are some press reviews we've received:

"Yet the Belgian designers have excelled to produce one of the richest CD Roms this year. They have had fun with Magritte's images without mocking them..."
    Sunday Times, rating 10/10

"A masterwork, probably the first real masterpiece on a CD-Rom dedicated to a painter. Everything is magnificent. The greatest compliment to make about this CD-Rom is that it is impossible to describe. It is an hyper media, a real one, which is not linear. Would it be possible to ask the authors to find a popular painter which will inspire them - even if he's not belgian? That would probably help all the CD-Rom's publishers and their clients to understand what computers may bring to art."
    Le Figaro
