CDD provides a software-as-a-service solution that helps drug researchers in university and institutional laboratories archive, mine, and collaborate around drug discovery data. CDD targets laboratories working on diseases such as Schistosomiosis, infectious diseases that asymmetrically effect developing countries. Investors include Eli Lilly & Company, Omidyar Network and Founders' Fund. In 2008 CDD received a $2M grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
