Student New Media on the University of Amsterdam. Blogging on TheNextWeb.com, SpotlightEffect.nl (Dutch) or on other places. I am also a very devoted and enthusiast data visualization fanatic; and occasionally a public speaker about visualizing information.

Among other things, I am currently working as a freelance web-adviser for the city of Utrecht (http://www.utrecht.nl/). I’m also co-founder of BLOG08, the first international conference about blogging in The Netherlands. Also founder of MapTheGap, a mobile application that let's you store, retrieve and share ideas in a revolutionary way.

There are new ways to store information and better ways to visualize them. Data Visualization has a rich history and has played an important role in many developments in modern times.
