I've been writing software for about 15 years now, primarily in Unix environments. Most of this has been in C for high performance multi-threaded daemons to handle network protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and IMAP. I've also researched, designed, and implemented clustered and distributed systems for custom databases and storage. Along the way I have also learned in-depth system and network administration skills with a focus on security. I'm a strong supporter of open source software and participate in a few projects.
Server architecture, distributed and clustered systems, GNU/Linux, Solaris, C, multi-threaded programming, debugging, networking protocols, database design, PHP, Drizzle, Gearman, MySQL, security, parsers, compilers, verbal and written communication skills.
