I take ideas and make them visible, flexible, functional, and beautiful - and I can create them in almost any media required; from pen & ink to complex flash applications and standards-compliant web design. In general, I follow a simple rule in my work—that both form and function need to walk side by side on a successful path to effective design and engaging art.

Bachelor of Fine Arts , Fine Art / Graphic Design , 1999 — 2003
I started off as a strictly Graphic Design major at TCNJ, but soon realized that the program didn't have the flexibility that I wanted to achieve in the arts. My solution was simple; to switch to being a Fine Arts major and make the program work for me. I was able to find that happy medium between my design and art - and I attained a broad spectrum of skills upon graduation that I would not have achieved had I stayed on my original graphic design path. This has proven to be one of the best decisions of my life.
