What I do is provide tools and solutions that are complex in their intricacies, but simple and elegant in their operation and integration. Like many others I love to have my work be seen and appreciated, but in reality what I do oftentimes makes me the man behind the curtain.
Since joining the work force as a student, I've specialized mainly in compliance issues, contingency management, and user interface ergonomics. These are all the tools one needs to design systems or components that are both thorough and intuitive.
My most marketable skill is my ability to learn new skills very rapidly. Throughout my professional experience, I have added new languages and skills to my resume simply by picking up a book and building an operational knowledge of the subject matter within days. I consider skill gaps to be opportunities to adapt the paradigms I work with to a new context.
