    As one of the first developers on Palm’s new webOS platform through the Early Access SDK program, developed the highly-rated ‘Radio Hibiki’ SHOUTcast player utilizing AJAX (Prototype/Mojo), HTML5 Storage & Audio, and CSS, generating nearly 22,000 downloads during the 90-day beta period alone. The application remains the preferred webOS-based audio player of AOL/SHOUTcast, and has received the coveted ‘Featured’ status in Palm’s App Catalog.

    Remotely managed a team of up to three developers and one web designer located across the United States, responsible for time and resource management; client expectation and rapport management; developing client quotes; web development; server administration; and interface design for ~30 clients. Mentored members of my team in adopting new strategies designed to increase output, security, and efficiency of solutions. Cultivated continued advancement of my team both personally and within the company.

    Utilized PHP, JavaScript/AJAX, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, and related technologies to produce content-rich solutions with an emphasis on reusable code for a large client base consisting of a “Who’s Who” in the Washington D.C. political scene in addition to several non-profit organizations and small to mid-sized companies.

    Took a lead role in the start-to-finish planning, design, and development of Reason Online (http://reason.com), retrofitting Dancing Mammoth’s proprietary content management system with a robust blogging suite; a 40-year retrospective cover gallery; integration of third-party analytical tools; innovative, proprietary spam protection and auto-banning procedures without the use of CAPTCHA; iTunes-integrated podcast feeds; optional video blogging using Flash Video; Amazon Kindle integration; and highly-granular RSS feeds. Reason Online, as a result, became a Webby Award Honoree in 2008 and was also nominated that same year for Best News Organization Website (1st Place) and Best Design and Layout (2nd Place) in the L.A. Press Club Awards.

Designed, developed, and implemented intuitive user interfaces for several new product lines and demonstration sites, and took a vested leadership role in the development of a company intranet. Vastly increased usability and lowered bandwidth usage by over 50% through the introduction of more efficient code and scalable navigation systems, and by conducting consistent audits of existing code, working toward overall standards-compliance. Worked in a research capacity alongside the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Feature Development to design potential product lines for the industry based on data analysis and visual mapping of various bond market scenarios.

    Rose quickly to role of Webmaster of Deloitte Consulting’s Atlanta office within four months. Considerably increased the value of and expanded the Atlanta Creative Services department to offer services previously unavailable in 90% of Deloitte CS branches, including lifecycle application development. During the proposed Braxton rebrand, took a leading role with the various levels of management to develop user interface revamps for various divisions, having
    been personally selected to perform an integral, national-level role assisting the corporate rebranding team.

    As manager of the DC Atlanta Intranet, worked with various levels of management to develop UI and functional enhancements as necessary. Trained Intranet webmasters and Deloitte marketing representatives globally in hand-coded HTML 4.01 and CSS, using Dreamweaver 4.0, to an intermediate level from having little-to-no prior exposure.

    Created for Saab, using Flash/Actionscript, a diagnostic test tool for distribution to all mechanics across the United States as part of their continuing education.

    Planned and developed several administrative interfaces for internal websites to be used with the flagship home automation project, increasing ease-of-use while eliminating several levels of complexity. Researched, designed, and tested several iterations of remote control interfaces on the PocketPC platform to handle expanded home-automation functions (thermostat, light functions, etc.) for later inclusion into the UnitedHome product. Conducted usability research, formed comparisons between similar control systems, and organized focus groups to test interfaces presented for consideration.

    Worked with Marketing to create a corporate style guide, maintaining consistency across the company in using the various Listman Home Technologies brands.
