Dulama Radu’s Summary

During over 9 years IT experience in different companies, I’ve been in several positions as follow:

Project Manager / Team Leader – I led several teams for different applications. The teams were small, composed from 3-4 software developers and eventually 1 tester. I was in charge with analyzing and transforming customer’s requirements in software specifications, design, organize, distribute and monitor software development process according with RUP methodology; also maintain the permanent contact with the client in order to present the project progress and status.

Software Designer and Architect – my work consisted in translating different customer requirements into software modules, by analyzing first and then finding the best way to transform them easily into viable solutions mapped as good as was possible to the project costs and resources according with best practices.

Software Developer – I was in charge of developing both specific software modules and software applications from scratch.

Customer Support – my work involved a good communication with clients at their sites or remotely, in order to support and mitigate their problems as fast and efficiently was possible.

System Administration – I was in charge of installing different operating systems and software packages, administrating both LAN network and single computers. My work in this area consisted in installations, administrations, patching different operating systems and software modules or databases components.

Documentation Writer – This was mostly part of my Project Management job and I have written different types of documents such as: software requirements and functional specifications, high level designs, technical specifications, installation and operation guides, release notes, project presentations, demo scenario, etc.

  Anais Software Services focused to developing outsourcing software on demand on different platforms. My position in the company was Project Manager at C# department and I were involved in one big project.
  
  Esimmo Project
  
  The product is an ERP application specialized on Real Estates agencies. From the early beginning I was involved in all understanding the Real Estates business process and also in gathering as much information as was possible from our client. The collected requirements was analyzed, estimated, designed, organized according with RUP methodology. Based on this we’ve developed on one hand a Real Estate client-server application and on the other hand an exchange server application that allows exchanging information between Real Estate applications and/or between other external systems such as paper media, web media, banks, etc. My position for this project was Project Manager, but I’ve been deeply involved in entire development cycle.

  Analyzing and Prediction Project
  
  The product is a powerful business intelligence application containing advanced mathematical science behind, designed with the aim to analyze and predict customers' behavior and to enable the optimization of the profitability by ranking customers from a telecommunication company.
  
  Campaigner Module Project
  
  Campaigner product provides network operators with a single, powerful solution for improving customer relationships, retention and profitability.
  
  Reporter Product
  
  Reporter product gives the ability to empower key decision makers by providing immediate access to business intelligence data. The product's core is a warehouse wholly designed for the rapid storage and retrieval of a variety of telecoms data.

  Alfrom it’s small software firm and acts like a branch of a bigger German company. Software modules produce here was mainly required and customized for our German client. My position in the company was software developer and I was involved in the following projects.
  
  Java Module Project
  
  This module was developed according with requirements produced in Germany, and its part of a bigger application. The section developed in Romania generates encrypted files, based on information existing in a database.
  
  Holding Graphics Project
  
  This project was developed for the same German firm. It takes part from a bigger application which studies stock holdings. The project developed in Romania makes the graphic representation of the stock holdings.

• Software Developer – Web department

  Sunny Invest

  Sunny Invest it’s a small outsource Software Company. My position in this company was software developer and I’ve participated to following projects produced for a Greek client.
  
  E-Commerce Project
  
  The project it’s an Internet application designed specially for Chamber of Commerce from Athena. It's based on transmitting and receiving messages between users. These messages are based on the basic concepts from EDI messages.
  
  Web Log Project
  
  The application has the main purpose processing of the IIS4 logs. After logs processing the user can easily see the statistics and graphics regarding the Internet traffic for a defined period of time. The traffic information outputs are presented in friendly HTML pages.

• System Administrator - Net department

  Codec Electronics

  October 1998 — April 2000 (1 year 7 months)

  System Administrator - Net department
  
  Codec Electronics was a leader of Internet Providers in Cluj-Napoca city; lately becomes part of Astral Telecom Company. I had to administrate a LAN network with around 15 computers under Linux and Windows operating systems. For the administration part I had to maintain the network updated with different patches both for the operating systems and software packages. As a software developer I’ve participated to few small and simple projects:
  
  Traffic Project
  
  This application allows traffic limitation of an Internet connection for Windows 95/98/NT stations. The project allows a system administrator to lock windows stations from a LAN or to perform Internet traffic limitations on different ports.
  
  Email Project
  
  This program offers the simplest functionality of a usual free-email program. I was involved in designing and programming part for entire application.
