Deputy Director & Development Director at Michigan League of Conservation Voters
Washington D.C. Metro Area
Kerry returned to Michigan following an intense & rewarding couple of years at the national League of Conservation Voters in DC, as Campaigns Project Manager & PAC coordinator for the LCV Action Fund. Working directly with candidates & campaigns from both parties, she helped deliver a long awaited pro-environment White House with President Barack Obama, 7 new U.S. Senators and 28 new U.S. Representatives (including Rep. Gary Peters & Rep. Mark Schauer who defeated two Dirty Dozen members).
An Oakland County, Michigan native, she received her BS in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont’s College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. She worked on policy & campaigns with the Michigan Environment Council, MI LCV and national LCV before completing her MS degree in Natural Resource Policy and Behavior from the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan. While at U-M, she served on student government, helped frame the national Coping with Climate Change Summit for the Clinton Global Initiative, and facilitated the development of her master's project, "Planning for the Strategic Redevelopment of Downtown Detroit" for the Downtown Detroit Partnership & Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, and taught undergraduate students. Kerry serves on the Alumni Leadership Council of the U-M Alumni Association. She enjoys good coffee, sunrise & sunset walks, hiking, biking and swimming in the Great Lakes.
