I am co-founder, along with my wife, Patricia McLean, of Elohi Gadugi, an organization to promote emerging writers who address important social issues in their writing, and The Habit of Rainy Nights Press, a micro-press located in Portland, Oregon. The Habit of Rainy Nights Press yearly publishes a few high-quality books of fiction, narrative non-fiction, and poetry.
