Ron Shelton MD’s Summary

As a board-certified dermatologic surgeon, I co-founded The New York Aesthetic Consultants, a Joint Commission certified multi-specialty cosmetic, dermatologic and plastic surgery facility in Manhattan. My goal is to provide patients with the best care, best treatment guidance and provide the most natural-looking results with the least invasive treatments.

In addition to The New York Aesthetic Consultants, I volunteer my time teaching and mentoring several international fellows in the Department of Dermatologic Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City – a department I helped create and had the opportunity to serve as their first director in 1993.

I’ve enjoyed delivering many professional presentations at national society meetings, writing two books, Liposuction and Botox, several peer-reviewed medical journal articles, and am a contributing writer for RealSelf.com, a Web site that provides people with valuable and helpful information related to cosmetic services, as well as a platform to ask credible doctors questions.
