"1991 Chiropractor of the Year", Ohio State Chiropractic Association. "1992 President's Award" achievement for the Southwestern Ohio Chiropractic Association. "Outstanding Contribution To His Profession" in the field of Political Action, presented by the O,S.C.A. Award for "Unselfish, Dedicated Service" to the O.S.C.A. "President's Award, " Dr. Rick McMichael, Past President of the O.S.C.A.
Award for "1995 Small Business of the Year" Mid-Miami Valley Chamber of Commerce. Appointed by Governor Voinovich to Ohio's Citizens Advisory Committee for the Health Department and the Health and Human Services Department. Dr. Sheely was also appointed to a Quality Care Assurance Committee by Governor Voinovich.
Dr. Sheely was appointed by Governor Voinovich for a four year term to the Ohio State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He was was re-appointed to a second four year term by Governor Taft ending in December of 2003.
