•I established consolidated project work schedule and made it available on a share. I established a Microsoft Project Server environment 2007 and SharePoint Server 2007 with calendaring, project storage and resource allocation. Project Server was used as the web interface to the project schedules as well as for the Project Managers to do resource allocation. SharePoint was used for documentation retention, team workspaces, calendaring, wikis and other forms of team collaboration.

Project Management Consultant in charge of migrating servers (5000+) and network devices from legancy monitoring and notification tools to BMC and Alarm point products using Blackberries for notification devices. Manage projects to add applicaiton Monitoring for over 40 applications (such as Enertia, Active Director, Data Center, Biztalk, PeopleSoft, Artesia, Exchange) using BMC Performance Manager and Alarm Point.

• I specialize din reviewing and identifying the current project methodology and make suggestions for enhancements. I implement project management best practices. I designed, documented and implemented project processes and mentored the staff.
•I worked with the PMO office at this HealthCare company to add PMP processes to the implementation group utilizing a tollgate sign-off process and HP Mercury Governance Center. All projects had Microsoft project schedules loaded into Mercury which I investigated where the time from the project team could be tracked on all projects in the enterprise data center to ensure proper resource allocation. We produced as a POS for Health Care cards for major insurance carriers, giving the customer a Web user interface to make small changes on their own.

My title was Technical Product Consultant on a business process event driven automation product called OpCon/xps. OpCon/xps is a fast flexible way to automate and controls a wide range of IT & business processes. It runs on all platforms in use today. Titles rarely mean anything in small companies, so I was fortunate to do a variety of things including reverse engineering, business analysis, process definitions, functional specifications, database design and the definition of the Web User Interface for the product.

I managed a 30 person development team, and a 15 person technical documentation team with a $6 million budget. Directed programs to deliver next-generation software for $394 million PATROL product family.
I planned and managed the development, documentation and validation of PATROL Solutions across operating systems ( applications (Microsoft .net servers, BackOffice products, Lotus Domino, Java application servers, hardware OEM products, SQL Server).
I provided long term strategic leadership and product roadmap refining it as new technologies and customer requirements came in to play.
I have forecasted budget and revenue expectations and reported on the actual to this budget on a quarterly basis to the executive team. I have refined budget quarterly to reduce expenses by 25% by introducing ways to work smarter using new processes and technologies.

I managed cross-organizational teams developing and delivering Smart Start software (out of the box configuration and set-up software for Compaq servers).
I led a project team made of engineering, marketing, QA, support, services and documentation to ensure the program success in delivering the server configuration software on the Windows, UNIX and NetWare platforms.
I cultivated and managed relationships with external vendors such as Microsoft and Intel resulting in Compaq being first to market with new Microsoft operating systems and Intel chips in our board releases. I evaluated 3rd party software to evaluate whether it would integrate with our platforms.
I drove an effort to identify and qualify outsourcing candidate companies enabling Compaq to manage resource requirements by outsourcing appropriate parts of our work. I forecasted, managed and reported on the budget for my organization.

Team was responsible for configuration management and build systems. Drove key cross-organizational projects to implement industry open standards. Managed cost center with budget of 15 million. Led Six-Sigma evaluation of core operating system.

Directed 15 person team responsible for delivering Digitals transaction processing software on the OpenVMS platform. Drove TPC certification for product allowing Digital to publish TPS metrics. Managed cost center with budget of 4 million.
