Head of IP and Senior Analyst
Greater Los Angeles Area
Prior to my current position as the head of the IP department in one of APAX's pharmaceutical company holdings, I was an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry and was working full time as the Senior Analyst for Janus Patents. I started Janus Patents, an IP consulting firm, in 2005 in California while I was in Business school at the Paul Merage School of Business.
My goal is to finish law school at a top 20 law school. While attending law school, I'd like gain in-house pharmaceutical experience; or alternatively, gain experience in a legal firm managing pharmaceutical client's patent portfolios and providing litigation support. Eventually, I'd like to pursue an International Consulting career specializing in Intellectual Property.

Work Experience, 14 years:

- 1995-2002: 7 years of medical research. The focus of my doctoral and postdoctoral research was the design, synthesis and biological evaluation of cancer drugs capable of protein modulation. I have worked with research teams at Rockefeller, Harvard Medical, and the University of Pennsylvania.
