I am owner of Dr. Flower's Essentials, an all natural handmade soap, candles and bath accessories business. The idea is to promote environmentally good sustainable, local choices for skin care. I've worked in the corporate world. In 2000 I took a journey into learning about small business from arms length. I found myself needing to get back to basics. Learning how to cook, make bread, sew quilts, organic garden, make soap.. The desire to educate on environmental awareness is almost as strong as the desire to make soap! The two go hand in hand in my business model to bring sustainable good quality all natural handmade soap to my community. How are you "greening" your daily routine?

This was a small family business that sold recharge laser printer cartridges and printer repair. It was the epitome of recycling and reuse. Many plastic parts and printers would have gone into the landfills had they not provided this service. The company has since been sold to another recharge industry company. I was brought on to manage the company as the owners were ready to step back for retirement. In the end, they sold the company instead.
