Drew Noyes worked to help make the 1982 International Energy Exposition become the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville Tennessee where he attended school. Drew Noyes operated Polyphonics Translation service for the World's Fair which employed 900 UT students.
From 1979 to 1981 Drew Noyes was the drive-time DJ for NPR's WUOT FM radio and earned an Albitron listeners rating of above 5 million listeners making his program the most popular radio show in the USA at the time.
While still a student at UT Drew Noyes was appointed coordinator for the 1983 Miss USA pageant held in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Drew Noyes was the Editor of The Phoenix fine arts magazine.
