Drew Lazor’s Summary

As a reporter, I've covered everything from hard news and sports to education and arts. But I hit on my true passion when I began writing about restaurants for the Philadelphia City Paper as a college intern in 2005. Since then, I've parlayed a then-random column assignment — a fledgling food news beat column called Feeding Frenzy — into a fulltime position overseeing all the dining content that appears in CP. (I'm also the paper's Web editor.)

I am always on the lookout for opportunities to talk and write about eating and drinking in a fun, approachable manner. That's why I was so excited to launch Meal Ticket (citypaper.net/mealticket), City Paper's food blog, in October 2008.

While most of my work these days deals in all things edible, you can occasionally catch me writing about movies, music and the Internet for CP and a handful of other publications.
