As district director, I am responsible for the Indiana-based operations of Congressman Mark Souder's office. Our team includes a full-time county director, two constituent liasons, the congressman's Indiana scheduler, a staff assistant, three part-time employees and my deputy district director.
We are the eyes and ears on the ground in the district for Congressman Souder when he is working in Washington, and we are coordinate his schedule and provide support for his Indiana schedule. Our four offices in northeast Indiana are available for constituents who are having difficulty with a government agency or are upset about a legislative proposal.

Working as a research assistant to the legislative staff, my most notable achievement was preparing whip materials and other research for Congressman Fox for an amenedment that until recently held the record for the longest (time) recorded vote in the history of the House of Representatives. Closed out all corresspondence for the Congressman before leaving to work for the Office of Congressman Ken Calvert.
