I believe in identifying and developing voids in services. In the real estate community in Austin in 1998, services were lacking for real estate inspectors to inform homeowners about the condition of the house they were considering purchasing. We developed a program to better inform buyers and provide better services. We have developed reporting software to produce exceptional reports and retain and grow our referrals since 1998.
The same concept was implemented in a lacking pest control industry. After providing WDI (termite) reports for 7 years we deployed the application side of Marshal Company in 2007. It didn't take long to realize applying pesticides is not what we wanted to do. We immediately developed a unique and extensive mechanical barrier system to close the openings left behind by construction. We dramatically reduced the available population of pests inside a home and the pesticides necessary to control them outdoors. When Pest Lock is installed, we offer our Signature Service (exterior only every other month) pest control treatments. My Healthy house is a result of not only the above two business models but the the growing demand for homeowners to have effective tools to manage their homes. This exciting new website will offer homeowners free knowledge of how their house works and how to care for it. Keeping records, finding contractors and receiving notices are just some of the tools you can use to care for the most important investment one can make. Failure to maintain and care for your home can dramatically increase maintenance cost and reduce your profit margin when you sell. Using our unique homeowner profile system, any user can set up this effective tool to managing their investment.

Users register at http://www.myhealthyhouse.com for a free house profile that includes very specific information. Then the house profile comes alive. Homeowners start receiving automated maintenance notices, green improvement tips, and safety information, all tailored specifically to the needs of their house. As things get accomplished, the maintenance log grows and the profile gets smarter.
In order to empower homeowners with knowledge we have created a library of information. Here users can find detailed maintenance information and troubleshoot problems. In addition, the site offers users the most current information on green improvements and conservation tips to help users save money and contribute to the betterment of the environment.
We’ve made it easy and free for our users to find and keep track of their contractors. As contractors get selected as users "favorite contractors" the contractor's rating increases making searching for a new contractor easier.
