· Created, designed, and developed Global Visualization (GV is patent pending) a web portal that managed GM's world wide IT infrastructure using an ITIL framework.

Responsible for the design, development and installation of PC based, client server, networked IT systems
for the General Motors account, at various location around the Detroit area.
· Performed requirements analysis, database design, and application development for Cadillac Headquarters Vehicle Tracking System (VTS). System was used by Cadillac engineers and executives to track scheduled test drives for vehicles.
· While working with GM Truck Plant engineers; I discovered that the plant manager was concerned about VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions from paint booth burn off, and the potential liabilities. Working together, we developed a process that would track VOC emissions. The system VOC system was designed, developed, and deployed quickly, helping GM plant managers avoid millions of dollars in possible EPA fines, in addition to reducing costs for solvent supplies.
· Provided consulting to clients at Buick/Olds/Cadillac (BOC) to develop an application systems catalog. The application systems database (or catalog) could track and rate IT systems by budget figure, functionality, and business value. This database was maintained for several years and later was merged (data migrated) to a larger GM IS&S corporate system (ATS the Application Tracking System similar to EDS Answers). Helped GM create a unified enterprise-wide IT vision. GM IS&S continues to use ATS to understand the business value (and business alignment) of each system that is being maintained and can now effectively align and plan systems around the globe with a portfolio management approach.
