Doug La Rue’s Summary
I have produced a wide range of print and web media products including books, websites and films of all kinds. I began my career producing medical training media which included the design of text books, medical photography and medical illustration for American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Center and the Marine Mammal Stranding Network. I have also designed books for major publishers such as Holt Rinehart Winston and Steck Vaughan Publishing.
My current focus is on Rich Media Design for advertising / marketing agencies and technology businesses. This includes Identity and social experience design of corporate image and product branding.
I also like to produce music videos, documentaries and feature films including one with an Academy Award winning actor (George Kennedy). My work has appeared on various networks including The History Channel.
