After earning a BA and MS in Computer Science, I spent seven years in assorted roles in the IT division of Seagate Technology, with my last three years as a Program Manager in the web group. In addition to project and program management, I spent time at Seagate developing, implementing and improving software development, project management and portfolio management processes using techniques drawn from a variety of standards including IEEE, CMM and Six Sigma. I am a Six Sigma Brown Belt and have developed and delivered customized Six Sigma and other process training to IT technical and management staff. I left Seagate to pursue my MBA at the New York University Stern School of Business. I graduated in May 2008 with specializations in international business, corporate strategy and leadership. Today I am combining my business education with my prior experience as I work in Beijing leading one of the largest divisions in a newly reorganized, rapidly growing, multinational outsourcing firm.
