I founded NewChinaCareer.com in January 2007 to solve a puzzling gap in China's world of online recruitment and high-end employment. The site is entirely in English, thus its jobseekers must read the language. This makes it attractive to companies seeking to recruit bilingual speakers. While a few of China's major job boards accept English language postings, only NewChinaCareer is English-only.
Today, NewChinaCareer lists more than 1000 senior and executive career opportunities within the Greater China region for industry professionals that are bi-lingual (Chinese + English) and the recruiters and employers looking to hire them.
In the past several months two spinoff sites have been launched: Executives.HK, a site devoted to mid- and senior-level jobs in Hong Kong, and; MoneyCareers.com, a site for jobs in the financial markets and banking in China and Asia Pacific. Both are, as you might expect, entirely English language.

I worked in both the The Hague and the Hong Kong office and while working on the business plan for NewChinaCareer.com, I was mainly responsible for setting the online marketing strategy for the Asia Pacific region.

Belcorrect.nl is a popular Dutch website where consumers can compare mobile phones and service providers.
I founded this company with my good mate Lionel Petitiaux and with limited resources we quickly built it into a profitable online business by using SEO, performance based marketing and various iother online marketing techniques. We sold the website in late 2006.

NationaleVacaturebank.nl is the market leading recruitment site in the Netherlands with more than 20,000 published vacancies and 1,8 million unique visitors per month. They compete in the Dutch market with Monsterboard and the national newspaper sites.
I joined the company during the exciting period of their startup years. With a small team of young and aggressive people we managed to grow the company significantly in both market share and revenue. I was responsible for closing a large number of accounts within the staffing and recruitment industry. I left after VNU Media acquired the company in late 2005 and joined one of my early clients to help them with their journey into Asia.

I worked at various in and outbound telesales projects before i was promoted to assistant team lead for a large outbound sales project that we did for our key account Tele2. After a reorganization i was the preferred choice to be promoted to Product Specialist, a role that both covered training large groups of new hires for various outbound sales projects and assisting the team lead of a large outbound sales project.
