A former DJ/Underground Dance producer and Audio Engineer, Donovan Adams officially switched gears in 1999 and re-entered the world of web development. Currently he is the sole Flash Developer at the Sci Fi Channel cable network. Based at 30 Rockefeller in New York City, Donovan is responsible for the interactive and Actionscript development for the SciFi.com website.
In addition to working at Sci Fi, Donovan runs a flash blog under the name hydrotik. Here you can find topics about Flash and Actionscript 3.0, source code, examples and tutorials, in addition to his photographic and creative work.
Donovan has worked for clients such as NBC/Universal, ABC, Anguilla Tourist Board, Madame Tussauds, and more.
Donovan was also a co-presenter for FlashBelt 2008. He covered his self contained tweening system that runs on the Go framework along with Moses Gunesch (Fuse) and Jud Holliday (zaaz).
