  I am working on my PhD thesis. I use genomic tools like DNA chips to investigate kidney cancer and discover potential drug targets. Gigabytes upon gigabytes of data are generated from the DNA chips. I write custom programs to analyze the large quantities of data produced to extract meaningful information.

  During the summer of 2002, I did a research internship at NIMH, NIH in Dr. Sanford Markey's lab. I wrote a computer program to analyze protein mass spectrometry data.
