I have more than two decades of horticultural, management and development experience in all areas of landscape design and maintenance for private and public properties, such as residences, commercial campuses, municipal and public lands.
As an organic landscape advocate, I co-founded the Organic Land Care Program of the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) by establishing a governing body and developing strategic, marketing and financial plans. I performed research for and co-authored the Standards for Organic Land Care with policies from which an educational curriculum, the content, a speakers bureau and an instructional design for this organization’s goal to educate landscapers about the methods, materials and benefits of organic land care were implemented.
My support and development of organic land care is defined in my commitment to manage for outcomes. I am firmly committed to leaving a legacy to future generations which includes a healthy, attractive and safe environment by using sustainable, renewable, “green” resources.
