Software developer (Python/Django) at Open-E

Hello,
My name is Dominik Szopa, I'm a python Programmer.
I have started building up my experience during my computer science studies at University of Silesia in Poland. My first programming language was Turbo Pascal, after that i was programming in many other languages as C++, Java, PHP even a little of .NET.
For a Master thesis work I have written a system that detects plagiarism of Turbo Pascal source codes, it was measuring a percent of similarity of code blocks. I was writing it with Delphi.
None of languages that I have learned, gave me a real pleasure of coding, i felt the difference when i found out Python, it was a real shock to me, a language that is so powerful ( batteries included ) and so simple to learn and read. I have just fallen in love with it. I'm very lucky to work with it now. Currently I'm building web applications with Django and Python at my work in Open-E. We are developing software for management of data storage systems.
My favorite operating system is Linux Ubuntu, i think that it's the best system for a programmer, especially for Python.
My favorite coding environment is Eclipse with pydev and pydev extensions plugins
database development, django, eclipse, object-oriented programming, pydev, pysvn python, svn, uml, xhtml
