David Miller’s Summary

Over 20 years total progressive IT experience working in both large structured environments and small internet startups. The last several years, I have specialized in architecting infrastructures for websites allowing for maximum uptime, high security and reasonable costs. This also includes architecting and designing office networks to give flexibility while staying within or under budget. I’m experienced in many technologies such as VoIP, co-location datacenters, MLPS, load-balancers and large storage systems. I have maintained and created many vendor relationships, balancing providers, company needs and cost benefits. Security has been a significant focus in my career as I believe it is the biggest challenge facing IT managers. I have participated in information security groups such as Pacific Northwest CISO forum and Agora.
