I work for Cargill Energy, Transportation and Industrial Platform (group of Business Units), to help build software that lets our Energy, Carbon Offset, and Ocean Transportation traders trade more effectively.
In 2008 I took a year off to be a "house husband", looking after our four and six year old boys, and also working on a couple of software product ideas, including the MceFM addin to Windows Media Center, that lets you listen to Last.fm within Media Center.
I created the ListSearch Extender, which is one of the standard controls shipping in Microsoft's ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit.
I also created the PromptSQL SQL Intellisense tool for Query Analyzer and SQL Server Management Studio, which Red-Gate software acquired in 2006.
In the more distant past I created the J-Integra Java-COM bridging product, which Intrinsyc Software acquired in 2001.

Created, marketed and sold a product called J-Integra, which allows Java software to access COM objects, and the reverse.
The product runtime was implemented in Java, and incorporated a Java implementation of the DCOM and DCE/RPC protocol stack – believed to be the only such implementation publicly available. Later versions also incorporated a native code stack to allow for faster calls between Java and COM.
Grew the company, and then sold it to Intrinsyc Software, becoming their Chief Software Architect.
