Many people still believe that the Internet has "magical" properties; that all they have to do is build a website, or create a presence on Facebook, and the world will beat a path to their door.
The facts are that any geek can build a website...but less than one-percent (<1%) of them know how to get that website to page-one of the search engines; or, even better, to dominate page-one on Google (where 72% of all searches are done worldwide).
In other words, the most beautiful and expensive websites are completely worthless if nobody knows how to find them. The real "magic," therefore, is the knowledge of what makes a website page-one material.
There are more than 100 distinct steps a website owner can take to influence their rank (or position) on the Web. Making the site pretty isn't one of them (directly, at least).
For more information on what is possible, see the Search Engine Marketing Blueprint document attached to this profile, or visit www.LarkinSoft.com to download it there.
