Diana L. Ford is a Choreographer/Dancer/Media Entrepreneur, and she works in association DLF Productions & Company. She is a high school graduate from the School for the Creative & Performing Arts. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communications–Radio/Television from Northern Kentucky University. As a former employee of N.K.U., Diana has more than 10 years of media experience from working in the I.T.– Media Production & Distribution Division, where she was a Media Coordinator. Ms. Ford has a wide range of Theater & Media experience, both onstage & offstage, including working as a Production Assistant with Channel 12/WKRC, & performing in shows with the Cincinnati Children’s Theater. She also choreographed 1 version of the musical “100 Years of Divas in American Music…” & performed in this production within various capacities. She has danced in multiple Rhythm & Motion demonstrations throughout Cincinnati under the direction of Heather Britt. In addition,Diana teaches her JUST DANCE Class at the Contemporary Dance Theater (CDT) & Urban Active Fitness.
Ms. Ford choreographed the thought provoking 20 min. piece called “FREE AT LAST?!?” & Part 2 of that called “LAND OF CONFUSION…” which included different forms of edited audio,music & video. “FREE AT LAST?!?” premiered in the Performance & Time Arts Series (PTA) at CDT in March 2006, & “LAND OF CONFUSION…” debuted at The Madisonville Arts Center (M.A.C.) in May 2008.“The Good, The Bad & The Evil–Angels vs. Demons” is just a continuation of these previous pieces of work, & it recently premiered at CDT in the PTA,and continued running through the 2009 Cincinnati Fringe Festival on Gabriel’s Corner. All of these performances are connected,& they have their own significant poignant themes. Furthermore, Diana directed,produced & choreographed her own dance,poetry & music production in 2007 called *The Woman Within (Letting Go…)*for the 20/20 Festival. She has a very broad singing & acting background,and she writes as well.

"LAND OF CONFUSION" (“FREE AT LAST?!?” - Part 2)
A unique, provocative interpretation of political, social and environmental issues. This show uses dance, song, video, spoken word and sound clips to acquaint the audience with the political inequities, social unrest and environmental destruction of our time. The performance incorporates Hip-Hop and modern dance set against a backdrop of stark disturbing footage, imperative voiceovers and profound impassioned music. The piece will leave the audience with the questions of ‘How did we get to this point? And where do we go from here?’
