Dkeith Wilson's Summary
Unique Value Proposition: change leader, team builder, continuous internal innovator that knows his way around a balance sheet and has the leadership, communication, and technical chops to get things done. I’ve continuously sought out new challenges over the last 15+ years- never afraid to leap from my comfort zone and begin anew.
What makes me unique? In short, I’m a weird confluence of seemly opposing skills and traits. I think strategically, yet execute tactically. I’m passionate, though oddly analytical. I’m a tech guy that can sell and manage the financials. And most importantly, I’m a leader that believes in service to others.
My professional (and personal) philosophy can be summed up in what I call the 4 P’s (People, Passion, Purpose, and Push): passionate people with a shared purpose can push down any obstacle- it’s really that simple.
• Right-sized an unprofitable, maturing business line into a profitable one with a minimal amount of cultural impact and maintaining positive morale (EVP- Modus)
• Provided key analysis and execution plan to CEO to support the company’s integration and consolidation efforts. Was promoted to EVP to expand and execute that plan (Strategy Officer- Modus)
• Developed “future state” sales and operations analysis for CEO and equity shareholders which resulted in the acquisition of Modus, LLC. (Director of E-Discovery– Ivize Services (Now Modus E-Discovery)
• Key player in DTI’s PMO creation and development during it’s infancy. One of then only 2 Senior E-Discovery Project Managers at it’s National Technology Center in Atlanta. Developed and shaped the communication, operations, and project management protocols that supported its corporate client base (including 5 Fortune 500 Companies). (Senior Program Manager – DTI)
Dkeith Wilson's Experience
Vice President Operations\Strategy Officer
Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Legal Services industry
March 2011 – April 2014 (3 years 2 months) Greater Atlanta Area
As Executive Vice President of Document Management Services, I’m responsible for managing the profitability of a maturing service line. Translation: ensuring there’s a proverbial cash cow to milk. I’m responsible for sales, operations, and marketing strategy and I lead a team consisting of 2 national directors, and 9 general managers.
Prior to being promoted to EVP, I was the company’s strategy officer. In that role, I was responsible for operational analysis and strategy for the entire company. I was promoted into that role as a result of my work as Director of E-Discovery at IVIZE, where I assisted the CEO and our private equity owners in developing a strategy to “buy” E-Discovery capabilities versus build them. This work resulted in the purchase of Modus and the merger of the two companies under the Modus brand. I was also responsible for the operations and project management teams for IVIZE’s E-Discovery business which then supported 12 locations and 1,200 law-firm clients.
Modus is a Discovery Intelligence firm that helps organizations create and leverage intelligence aggregated from individual eDiscovery matters to optimize processes, more accurately predict results and make better-informed, enterprise-wide business and legal decisions. Some of the world’s largest corporations and AMLAW 200 law firms trust Modus to solve tough problems, control costs, and meet deadlines with accurate, defensible data. For the 2nd consecutive year, Inc. 500 recently ranked Modus as one of the fastest growing eDiscovery companies in America.
Program Manager\Senior Project Manager
Privately Held; 1001-5000 employees; Legal Services industry
May 2006 – March 2011 (4 years 11 months) Greater Atlanta Area
As Senior Program Manager for DTI, my responsibilities included the creation and management of a ‘silo-ed’ project management and operational systems that supported large corporate customers. These clients included a number of Fortune 500 companies and generated $5+ million a year in revenue. I developed and managed customized work flows to help these customers manage their overall E-Discovery spend. I was also a functional lead responsible for project management and operational employees that were assigned to support specific clients.
Prior to the creation of the Senior Program Manager role, I was one of the first Senior E-Discovery Project Managers at DTI’s National Technology Center. I was responsible for end-to-end support of customers: front-end consulting, project management, customer development and relationship management, and sales support. As one of the first team members in this role, I led the charge to build processes to support what was then a business line still in its infancy.
Founded in 1998 as Document Technologies, Inc., DTI has grown to be the largest independent provider of litigation, discovery and managed support services for the legal and corporate markets in the U.S. With more than 25 offices in major markets nationwide and on-site client services in 60 markets, DTI supports the majority of the AmLaw 100 law firms and numerous Fortune 500 Corporations.

February 2004 – May 2006 (2 years 4 months) Greater Atlanta Area
As a Business Development Executive in a startup, I was the quintessential “jack of all trades” responsible for identifying opportunities, closing sales, client management, and technical support. “Technical support” included solution design, project management, and solution implementation support.

Public Company; 10,001+ employees; RCII; Retail industry
June 2000 – February 2004 (3 years 9 months) Greater Atlanta Area
As General Manager for Rent-a-Center, I inherited a “challenge” store with declining sales, low-profitability, and high-employee turnover. I was responsible for sales, operations, human resources, and the store’s overall profitability. Within a year, I helped move the store from an under-performer to a top-performing store- eventually becoming one of the Southeast’s “Centers of Excellence”. During my tenure, I hired, trained, and developed 4 employees that were promoted from my store to manage stores of their own.
Rent-A-Center is the largest rent-to-own operator in the United States with an approximate 32% market share based on store count as of September 30, 2013. At June 30, 2013, Rent-A-Center operated approximately 3,142 company-owned stores nationwide, Canada, and in Mexico and Puerto Rico. At September 30, 2013, Rent-A-Center Franchising International, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, is a franchiser of 213 rent-to-own stores.
