Dean Jutilla is Director of Marketing and Social Media for WidgetBucks, the fastest growing ad widget network on the Internet. Dean joined Mpire Corporation, WidgetBucks' parent company, in October 2006, and today oversees all external-facing marketing, public and media relations efforts, including company/product positioning, strategy and messaging. His responsibilities also involve writing and managing the company's blog, as well as participating in and influencing relevant social media conversations.
Dean's 16 years of marketing communications experience include serving as communications executive at eBay (2004-2006) and Yahoo! (1999-2002), and as principal/owner of his own firm. During his time at Yahoo!, Dean's responsibilities involved managing publicity for Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Buzz Index, and its FIFA World Cup partnership, and while at eBay, he oversaw marketing communications for eBay Sports, eBay's pop culture outreach, and eBay Collectibles. He also helped spawn, manage and write the blog for eBay Pop, a trend-spotting site that merged eBay buying and selling trends with the world of pop culture.

Founded in 2005, Mpire and WidgetBucks are backed by Ignition Partners and former eBay executive and Pay Pal angel investor Richard Rock.The company is headquartered in Seattle, but I am based on Sedona, Ariz.
