I have worked in Food and Beverage for over twenty years now, growing up in a family that owned several restaurants in Spain, my home country. I left Madrid to attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where I obtained my M.S. and B. S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration. I have traveled and worked in Europe, Asia and America in different management capacities, all in the Food and Beverage industry. I worked all the way through college, Marriott, Starwood and even opened my own business in Toledo, Spain. Since 2002 I have been with MGM Mirage acquiring valuable and interesting casino experience. I held the Take Maku General Manager position at Beau Rivage, Sensi AGM (as part of the opening team), Michael Mina Bellagio AGM and SEABLUE General Manager. In June 2008, I accepted the position of General Manager of Shibuya Japanese restaurant. Continuing on my beverage education in 2008 I passed the Introductory Course from the Court of Master Sommeliers and in 2009 I passed the Sake Specialist certification.
