I am a qualified winemaker with experience in the production and general management environment. I have a keen interest in the wine industry, business development and general management including wine production as well as the management of teams and processes within a framework of systems and internationally accepted principals and practices to the benefit of all interested parties.

I started my professional career as an assistant winemaker but was soon recognised as someone with the potential to develop into a manager due to my calm, systematic and analytical approach to planning and organising of teams and processes. I also have the ability to get along with a wide variety of people, both colleagues and clients. The solving of challenges in the workplace comes very natural to me. I am comfortable within a computerised environment and the use of management software to make decisions to enhance efficiency and profitability. I can recognise and explore opportunities, strategise and negotiate around such opportunities.

I have gained valuable international experience through various job opportunities, This has also allowed me to establish an international network in the global wine industry.
