She manufactured silk rose corsages to market within the business community and the grocery chains. She also supplied wholesale craft companies, worked trade shows, and made floral arrangements for wedding celebrations.
At one time, she employed 12 Laotian immigrants.
This successful business was run from home and helped set her on the course of dealing with people all over the world from the comfort of her own home.
