My parents came to the UK from Dominica and on the 17th February 2008 I decided to start a social network to connect with fellow Dominicans. It's now September 2009 and we have over 7,700 members.

I started setting up my own blogs with podcasts (and sometimes a membership site attached) and now support entrepreneurs looking to sell their products online.

Blogs are simple to maintain and search engines love them because they are updated regularly with content. Podcasts mean people can download them and have your voice/face on their ipod.

I am qualified to train and develop both people and companies and had been happily training both for years. I would run team building days and help teams create visions of who there were. I would also support small voluntary sector groups, help them develop and manage short-term funded projects. Then one day I decided to choose and I chose to focus on the development of people, that turned into the development of parents, women and teens, which is my main focus now.
