* Now back to excellent health, seeking position in social sector or enterprise in community relations, fundraising partnerships, community outreach.* Currently assisting misc. nonprofits incl. Korean Community Service Center, grant proposals for JS Free Clinic, CYITC in DC, No.Va. Community Foundation, prep for CFRE certification.
As a creative, resourceful marketing & development professional by training, I have a history of creating good value in the business sector incl. leadership of product development teams & alliances in ICT (Information Comms Tech) -- plus my nonprofit career & community involvement. What I most enjoy is using my marketing & partnering talents to help solve social problems & create social value. I’m an active member of AFP (Assn. Fundraising Professionals), so am well versed in best practices incl. packaging a case statement & grant proposals to relationship manage for leadership gifts & individual donors.
I'm committed to using my "helping spirit" to improve "quality of life" community issues, now in excellent health after a year+ hiatus beating hepatitis. I’d love the opportunity to make a difference at a global, national or community-based social enterprise. My work at Inova Health System to help save patients’ lives in our community, as Sr. Dev. Officer, was a good fit & learning experience.
Target job titles: Manager, Officer , Director, Assoc. for: Resource development, corporate or community relations/partnerships, community engagement, cause marketing, leadership giving, grantsmanship.
