Hotel Developer, LEED AP
Dallas/Fort Worth Area
Dr. Diana Driscoll, entrepreneur extraordinaire, has found her passion in hotel development. Combining her business savvy, leadership abilities and an eye for design, Ridgeline Hospitality is currently focused on developing new, up-scale hotels in the Southwest.
Prior to forming Ridgeline Hospitality, Dr. Driscoll developed and managed office and retail developments through Driscoll Realty Developments, Inc. As is true of many successful multi-taskers, she ran this company while simultaneously practicing therapeutic optometry full time. Her love of business, the stock market, and her desire to help others, also spawned her designation as a Registered Investment Advisor and her formation of Professional Money Management, Inc. . Additionally, she assisted doctors in medical practice appraisals and worked with professionals to bring buyers and sellers together.
Always in pursuit of excellence, while keeping her eye on the pragmatic requirements of successful development, her leadership role with Ridgeline Hospitality will undoubtedly result in an outstanding team, creating outstanding hotels.
Although no longer actively practicing optometry, her desire to give back continues to be evidenced by all that she does. She works closely with the researchers on a rare medical condition (Ehlers-Danlos), and is often found speaking on this topic to patients and doctors alike, and meeting with patients one-on-one for that much needed empathy and medical advice. She and her children have formed “Swings and Smiles” – a non-profit organization which constructs playgrounds in needy areas. She strongly believes helping others is her true calling, and without that, business success is meaningless.
Dr. Driscoll is an ambitious team leader, encouraging others to reach for the stars. Although constantly encouraging her team, she is also a strong leader, and expects others on the team to strive for extraordinary results, and accepts nothing short of excellence.
Hotel development
Dr. Driscoll recently received the coveted “LEED AP” accreditation, and means that she has demonstrated through vigorous testing, a thorough understanding of the “green building” industry knowledge, and the process of bringing a building to “green status” (i.e. LEED certification).
