Project Lead at Business Executives for National Security
Washington D.C. Metro Area
I have over 15 years of technology experience in a variety of roles at start-ups and large corporations building innovative business-driven technology-savvy organizations. I have led software development and professional services teams globally as well as held executive management team positions at YUDU Media, The New York Times Company and OneSoft Corporation. Most recently, I was engaged as a consultant at Cisco Systems to help IT and Marketing executives in a $1Billion initiative. Leveraging both my fast-paced startup experience and a mature organizational focus, I understand how to bridge the gap between technology and business while delivering measurable top line and bottom line results.
I have two MBA’s and a BS in Engineering from top global educational institutions, have dual Italian and US citizenship and am fluent in English and Italian.

Business Executives for National Security, a nationwide, non-partisan organization, is the primary channel through which senior business executives can help enhance the nation's security. BENS members use their business experience to drive our agenda, deliver our message to decision makers and make certain that the changes we propose are put into practice. BENS has only one special interest: to help make America safe and secure.
Starting on June 1, 2009, I will be leading the effort to build a portal for returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan to help them re-integrate into society. Our goal is to create a transparent, reliable network to enable veterans, their families, communities and support networks to identify, evaluate and engage the resources needed to enable veterans to successfully reintegrate into society.
I plan to make sure that we bring to bear the best ideas from the worlds of social networking, content portals, online job training & job boards and make sure that I leverage my experience of the last 15 years to lead this project. Our success will be defined by actively engaging veterans in providing them access to a catalog of services (Federal, State, NGO & Private Sector), social media & networking features, job training, job postings and other features as the project progresses.
