Stephen Allard’s Summary
Stephen has been in Seoul, Korea now for two years after spending 6 months in Shanghai in 2007-2008 working with manufacturing firms. He maintains a design office in San Francisco and also has opened a new design office in Seoul. He has also established himself in the design education community in Seoul where he currently teaches design at several universities and design colleges.
Stephen has designed for large brands (LG, Samsung, Rubbermaid) SMEs in US, Singapore, China and Korea and start up firms in California. His design work has won international design awards as well as exhibition in museums and trade shows.
He has built a successful track record of design department planning, implementation and growth within several brand/manufacturing firms. Included in his achievements: intern programs, staff hiring/management, project management, prototype lab design/implementation and CAD database systems implementation.
