Currently GM Marketing and Business Development and heading Media Services Dept. producing TV Talkshows, advertorials, TV ads and creative placement for clients. Responsible for Metro TV's overall business strategy and generating marketing tools, networking, strategic partnership and developing new revenue streams for Metro TV and leading a team of 50 members.
Also a Senior Anchor/Journalist and Talk Show host with main focus on Economic issues, MDGs and CSR as well as international affairs.
Have been in the Media and Broadcast Industry since 1990 starting with RCTI (Indonesia's first independent TV) as Reporter, Anchor and Executive Producer; co-founder of Astaga.com before joining Metro TV as Consultant and trainer when the station first aired in 2000. I hosted a weekly talkshow on economic issues 'Economic Challenges' with Desi Anwar', now 'MDGs Insight' talkshow.
Also a regular columnist/writer for English publications Tempo English and The Jakarta Globe.
I conduct Media Relations training and PR/Corporate Communications training on demand.
I'm also a keen photographer and amateur sculptor who has exhibited her works and published a book of photography and writings on my travels called 'A Romantic Journey.'

I was one of the founders of the News Room and pioneered as News Presenter and TV Reporter. We created an autonomous Newsroom and sub company called PT Seputar Indonesia after the prime time evening news programme 'Seputar Indonesia'.
