Currently Senior Anchor and Journalist at Metro TV, also GM Marketing and Business Development. Have been in the Media and Broadcast Industry since 1990 starting with RCTI (Indonesia's first independent TV) as Reporter, Anchor and Executive Producer; co-founder of Astaga.com before joining Metro TV as Consultant and trainer when the station first aired in 2000. I host a weekly talkshow on economic issues 'Economic Challenges with Desi Anwar',
Also columnist for English publications Tempo English and The Jakarta Globe.
I'm also a keen photographer and amateur sculptor who has exhibited her works and published a book of photography and writings on my travels called 'A Romantic Journey.'
