I've worked on a number of interesting projects at Loop - notably the complete redevelopment of all of Toyota Ireland’s web sites in partnership with Newmedia. The project involved working with a legacy ASP.NET C# code-base to an extremely challenging schedule. The successfully delivered web sites were developed with ASP.NET 2.0 C#, Ajax, and SQL Server 2005.

The Toyota.ie web site has been awarded a 2008 Golden Spider Award.

I've also lectured on ASP.NET web and development and database design on a part-time basis in Senior College Dun Laoghaire.

I'm currently involved in the ongoing development of a customer portal for Ireland's largest mobile telecommunications company.

As technical lead I was responsible for overseeing all development-related activities and practices within Newmedia, as well as mentoring junior members of the development team.

In a client-facing role, I lead web projects and provided consultancy for clients including Toyota, RTÉ, o2, Meteor, EirGrid, Lynx, Alphyra, Tour America, and Cruise Holidays amongst others. The technologies used included ASP.NET 1.x and 2.0 C#, SQL Server 2000 and 2005, MySQL, and PHP 4.x (where dictated by client).

I was also responsible for the design and ongoing development of Newmedia’s ASP.NET C# CMS, Renewmedia.
