Dennis Koks’s Summary

During the third year of my study I did my internship at Fabrique, a leading design agency in the Netherlands. At Fabrique I focussed on Interaction design and visual design for the web. They broadend my horizon tremendously. Afterwards I started working as a freelance designer, also for Fabrique and others.

Now I work on projects of my own like transparentspaces.org (explores what happends when you make common ground visible in public spaces using new media). I've designed for the web, mobile devices, touch screens, installations.

I always try to incorporate the WOW-factor in design while staying user-centered. I believe design should be engaging (also on a emotional level) and shift paradigms when the opportunities are there.

Through Fabrique I've worked for clients like: Iamsterdam, Albert Heijn, Thiememeulenhof, Gerritse, D-reizen, Beeld en geluid
