Dennis joined C3 in June, 2009, and recently launched a new start-up that will utilize communities, networks, and rich Internet technology to bring new solutions to the enterprise.
Previously, Dennis Moore was CEO of OQO, maker of the world's smallest x86 computers running Windows Vista and Windows XP, used in field service, public safety and defense, sales, healthcare, government, and other applications where mobility, connectivity, and Windows support are required.
Before OQO, Dennis was General Manager, Emerging Solutions, for SAP, with responsibility for creating solutions for untapped enterprise markets. Dennis’ team pioneered many industry firsts including composite applications for the enterprise (xApps), enterprise information worker productivity (Duet), and Enterprise 2.0 products (including SAP Enterprise Search). Dennis served as a member of SAP’s Product Leadership Team and Senior Executive Team and reported directly to the Board of SAP AG.
Before joining SAP, he spent four years working with numerous startups as a founder, key executive, and consultant. Previously, Dennis spent nearly eight years in a number of senior management positions in product development and marketing at Oracle. Prior to joining Oracle, Dennis held a number of product development and management positions with Ingres Corp., Dendrite International, and Procter and Gamble.
Dennis graduated from Princeton University, earning a BSE degree in Chemical Engineering. Dennis enjoys spending time with his family, and in his roles as founder and president of The OracAlumni Network, SDForum Board member, volunteer with Northern California Music and Art Culture Center, and as an advisor to several start-up companies.
