Denis Goulet is a recognised expert in the Business Continuity Management (BCM) field with 20 years of experience, focusing on the Financial and the Telecommunication industries, but covering as well Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Distribution and Government organisations. Since 1988, Denis has helped these organisations with the definition, the development, the implementation, the maintenance and the testing of their Business Continuity programme. Since 1999, Denis has provided BCM consulting and coaching services to a variety of customers in North America, the Middle-East and Europe.
Denis has the CBCP designation (Certified Business Continuity Professional) since 1992. He is one of the few certified business continuity instructor with DRI International and DRI Canada since June 2000. As such, he delivers high quality training in North America and Europe, to BCM practitioners of all types of private and public organisations. Denis has also obtained in 2008 the MBCI certification, from the Business Continuity Institute (United Kingdom) and the BCCE Certification, from the Business Continuity Management Institute (Singapore).
Denis has contributed to the BCM community as a member of the Board of Directors of “DRIE-Montréal” (1999-2000) and as a member of the Board of Directors of “Disaster Recovery Institute Canada” (1998-2000). More recently, he has created BCMIX, a virtual Business Continuity Management international community, with over 2000 members.
Experienced and enthusiastic speaker since 1994, Denis has spoken on various subjects like BCM exercises, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), selling BCM to senior management, etc. He has developed over time the required communication skills for presenting to all types of audiences (technical staff, business representative, managers, executives, etc.) in the private and public sectors. Denis is fluent in the French and English languages.
