With the sole mission of helping others in "pain prevention" by sharing my experiences as a marketing executive and professional working mom, I am venturing into motivational speaking, running educational workshops and blogging the journey.
I am currently in the early stages of writing my first book and with the intention to publish in mid to late 2010. I also hope to book my first national conference speaking engagement in 2009 as well.

My key responsibilities are to develop and execute marketing plans to support the sales goals of the tools division within Sears Roebuck. I work alongside our merchant team to set a go-to-market strategy for all the products in our division including our flagship brand, Craftsman tools.
During my tenure, we saw change in the trajectory of the tools business. Most notably in the fall of 2008 with our first multi-channel promotion - Every Tool To Get It Done Sale, we leveraged all our marketing assets to deliver a positive change in our sales trend during the promotional period as well as engage consumers that otherwise did not engage with Sears - specifically a younger target (25-49). Additionally, we delivered over 10,000 new customers via this promotion.

My role began as a PR intern and blossomed into a marketing assistant in the year leading up to the 1994 World Cup. During this time, US Soccer's list of marketing partners quadrupled and one of my primary duties was to keep track of our commitments as they related to US national team players and protocol (the exchange of gifts between national delegations at international events).
