Operation Letters To Santa was founded to bring public awareness to the hundreds of thousands of "Dear Santa" letters that are received by the United State Post Office each Christmas.

Volunteer postal workers have dug down deep into their own pockets, using their own time and resources to answer these "Dear Santa" letters from needy children since the early 1900's. Now, through the USPS "Operation Santa Claus" program, people from all walks of life can bring a smile to a child who otherwise would have no Christmas at all.
