I spent many years in the auto industry as a successful Finance Manager and then a Finance Director with a great network of lenders-- then let a friend lure me into the mortgage business as it was taking a downturn. I learned a lot through the experience (What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?) while also launching some independent businesses-- recruiting, accounting and bookkeeping, event planning, and small business consulting.
